The New Doctor [Who]

I am so glad to that the new Doctor role is going to be a skinny white man.
For too long skinny white men have been so poorly represented in a strong, intelligent and positive, role-model leading role.
The BBC really is grasping the opportunities to break out new and fresh, thought provoking ideas.
We should all be grateful that the Doctor isn't going to be Asian, African, or mixed race and absolutely not a woman.
What would young children learn if the Doctor was going to be, for example, a British born, Pakistani, normal sized, woman!?
To see "her" outsmart the baddies and save the universe?
To hear characters say " She is coming, the Doctor's coming! We're saved, there is hope!".
Boooooring! Same old, same old, like watching re-runs.
No, like I said it is time for the skinny white man to finally get a chance and show/teach the viewers how we can, and maybe should, view and treat white skinny men.
And the non-white (not)skinny people might get permission to travel along with the almighty Doctor, he needs to save someone of course!
Well done BBC! Well done indeed. I applaud you. I take my hat of for you. I'd put on multiple hats just so I can take them off for you.
Truly pioneering and inspiring work.
Unlike [almost] every other T.V-show being produced in the world.

Men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, men, white men, men, men, men...

Easy food - Pasta Alfredo with brocolli and bacon bits.

I'm a lazy person, but I try to get some veggies in there when possible ^^

1 Findus Pasta Alfredo
A good portion of brocolli, I used frozen.
A pack of bacon bits.

Start with cooking the (frozen) brocolli in water until they are just boiled soft enough, prick with a fork to test it.
On my stove it was right after 12 min.

Throw the bacon bits in a frying pan and toss the packet of Pasta Alfredo in the nuke-machine (Microwave)
They'll be done at about the same time.

Throw everything on a plate and mix it up.

Shove food in mouth.

The portion I get from the Findus package is enough for 2 good meals ;) Don't eat too much, it's spoils the experience :P

Have an apple for desert ^^

Lazy? How so? xP

Thought I'd check in and was a bit surprised to see that my latest entry was in 2011, has time really flown by so fast? Oh well, got myself a cup of tea and some eggs for breakfast and though I'd dot down some words here again. Problem is since such a length of time has gone by it's hard t know what to blog about. Everyone in this nutty little family has gotten older, but most noticeable Cowboy, my German shepherd. Already 7 years old, and it is also noticeable in the way he walks about. I have taken him to the vet for a check up and he is in good health, he's just getting older. And that of course reminds one of how we don't have any control over life really, but I try not to get stuck in that mode of thinking.
Jr has been a busy kitty, gotten pregnant and gave birth to 3 little rascals back in July. As cute as kittens are they can be a handful ^^ And bu now Jr has gotten enough of them and doesn't seem to be around them that much anymore. Doesn't help that they still want to be fed by her, they are almost as big as she is. People have shown interest in adopting them but nobody is actually being sincere, and I think that sucks balls. But whatever, that's just the way it is then. I'm also not giving them away to just anybody. They are funny as hell and Iulia is often playing nanny and they are at their cutest when they sleep :)
